Players
Rene Cole Member profile Rene Cole
A long time stalwart with the Saints, he has come up with incredible match winning performance for the team time and again over the past few years.
Richard Cooke Member profile Richard Cooke
One of the Generation Next for the Saints
David Fleming Member profile David Fleming
The junior member of the Fleming brothers, he has been a regular member but could not play in all matches of the season due to college commitments. From 2007 onwards, he would be available for all matches and James Robinson would be really glad to have him behind the wickets for the First XI.

He is also the captain of the Mid-Week Eleven, a responsibility which I am sure will help him in the long run.
Rammohan Goud Member profile Rammohan Goud
Rammohan ('Ramone' to his club mates), is a very enthusiastic member of the First XI. 2008 would be the fourth season with the Saints. He is an excellent player of badminton as well.

He has played his cricket in India, South Africa and now in Ireland.
Anil Kumar Member profile Anil Kumar
A very keen follower of cricket who keeps insisting that he does not bowl wide deliveries (though statistics say otherwise), he is a very useful bowler and a handy bat. 2007 is his first season with the Saints and we will be watching his performance closely.

He topped the batting and bowling averages for the Second XI in 2008.

He also performed creditably with the Mid Week team and has been elected as the skipper for the 2009 season.
Stewart Lapsley Member profile Stewart Lapsley
Determined, athletic, conscientious when doing the ground, loyal to the club - have never even been asked to play elsewhere.

He is one of the very few current players to have experience in playing the Senior I league - no mean feat !!

His variety of spin continues to confound many opponents. His hat-trick vs The Nedd is still remembered.

His loyalty to the club is well known in the NW .. and he is always willing to lend a hand at short notice.

He is an extremely valuable asset to the club.
Alan Macbeth Member profile Alan Macbeth
Comes from a family with a lot of sports background. His parents were excellent badminon players, his maternal uncle (Roy Torrens) is the current manager of the Ireland Cricket team

He is also a very good badminton player.

His two younger brothers and nephews play for St Johnston as well.
David Macbeth Member profile David Macbeth
The youngers of the Macbeth brothers, he is a very fierce competitor. He is of formidable height and physique and can be a very intimidating opponent.
Ian Macbeth Member profile Ian Macbeth
This shy looking player is actually a top class badminton player. He can fit in to any role within the team. One of the three Macbeth brothers, he is a man who can turn a game on its head.
Clifford Malone Member profile Clifford Malone

Originally from New Zealand, he has settled down in Letterkenny with his wife and children.

He is a sports enthusiast and plays cricket, badminton, tennis and golf (recently given up rugby !).

His constant chattering while fielding keeps the rest of the team in good spirits.

Not sure why he has an Australian accent !!

James Robinson Member profile James Robinson
A dedicated and enthusiastic follower of the game, he was the skipper of the First XI for three years before deciding to play as a player for the 2008 season.
